At this point, everyone should understand the basics of writing a good lead. It is not unusual to have to compose a story based upon someone else's notes. In class, collect the handout consisting of four news stories, well, almost news stores. They are a collection of notes that you will turn into a story.
1 Open up a word document
2. Read the notes carefully
3. Write up the story.
4. Give your story a headline.
When you have completed all four stories, send them along to me. DUE by the end of class WEDNESDAY 16 NOVEMBER.
